Arggg video settings ....

Ok, am using that BRAND spanking new Distro PCLINUOS 2007 and have just done
a complete upgrade. Now the VIDEO wants to go into a 1152x768 mode
EVEN THOUGH the resolution in the xorg.conf file says 1024x768 -
and that is the highest resolution in it.When I do my startx I get
3 screens ghosted, and I cannot save the 1024 settings.

This has a Intel 945G graphics chip on the MB, any ideas on where it is
getting the 1152x768 settings from (xorg log in /var/log shows that
what it is setting itself to).
