When I graduated from SMU in 1965, I had a scholarship for 2 semesters
study at the University of Freiburg. I also spent a few months time as
an assistant teacher in Oldenburg and environs. I still speak German
reasonably well, and I enjoy reading the German language sections of
the sidux forum.
