The first thing I would do is update to the current version of HylaFAX,
4.4.0.  They have added some nice tweaks to make the receive and routing
process a bit cleaner.

This may be buried in the ghostscript interface that's used to convert
PostScript(tm) and PDF documents to tiff/f format.
