There were several attempts at user-friendly Debians.  Ian Murdoch had a 
boxed Debian, the name of which escapes me at the moment, that used 
LIZARD for installing.  There was also Corel Linux, whose abandonment 
was particularly annoying since the distro had much promise.  Storm 
Linux was a gem, and unfortunately not enough downloaders bothered to 
buy it and keep its developers afloat.  And of course the late lamented 
Libranet was about as user friendly for installation and support as you 
could hope for.
