My point was that it was a very nice, and popular, place to take 
pictures.  It's precise orientation/location was immaterial and 
mentioned only as a reference.  And one could easily say that the 
Panamints on the west and the Funeral Mts on the east are all part of 
the Death Valley National Park.  It's not worth being 
obsessive/compulsive about.  And it's "Zabriskie" Point.
See how being obsessive/compulsive takes all the fun out of it ;-)
