No, never tried it on SPARC hardware. Are you speaking of Solaris 10 or
OpenSolaris? Note, I've not tried "plain" OpenSolaris myself.

Nexenta takes the SunOS kernel and runtime and drops the GNU tools / Ubuntu
(currently a mix of Dapper and Edgy) on top of it. Now, GPL flamewars
aside, the result is pretty impressive to take for a test-drive. Lonnie, I
would not waste your time telling you to try it if it wasn't an eye-opener
kind of experience.
