Anyone uses 2.6.16.21 with Cisco vpn client ?
I have two workstations running 2.6.16.13 with cisco vpn client without
any problem. My @home workstion just upgraded to 2.6.16.21 and it
causes me serious problem after initializing the vpn connection : all
ssh connections fail while ftp, telnet have no problem. I tried telnet
to port 22 of the remote hosts and I saw the reply of the ssh protocol
like SSH-1.99-OpenSSH_4.2. This means it is not a firewall problem. It
even fails when I ssh to an outside ssh host, i.e. not going thru the
vpn tunnel.
Disconnecting that vpn connection solves all above problem
Anyone experiences this problem ? How do you fix it ?
( My current temporary solution is to set up my Cisco router to
establish the vpn connection to the office, but this is not a perfect
solution for me because I have some customers using the same internal
network address. In this case, there is no way the router no which one I
want to get to ).
Thanks,
Vu
