Well, getting 3-4 emails in several days was weirding me out. I guess
I'll have to work my steps again;
<stands at the podium> "My name is Ric and I am an email addict!"
<crowd> "Hello Ric!"
<Ric> "Well, there were no emails and I went into my cycle! I
acknowledge it and take responsibility for it. I'll take it one day at
time and reaffirm my need to stay in the program. I am powerless in my
addiction and need to call on my Higher Power to help me manage it."
<crowd erupts into cheers>
<Ric rejoins all of the other email addicts on Linux-Users List, teary
eyed, grabbing hugs and handshakes back to his seat>
Yes, I have been in a twelve step program for real, so I'm not
disparaging those who also are working their steps. If you're a wannabe
writer, email CAN be addicting! <smiles hugely> I do admit that! But, it
beats the hell out of my old addictions. Ric
