Here is what I have found:

Vision 3 is limited to max record size of 32767 bytes, with a max key
length of 250 bytes (primary key) and 15 secondary keys. Node Blocks
are either 512 or 1024 bytes only.

Vision 4+/ (2 file setup)
records up to 64 megabytes in size, larger block sizes (up to 4MB)
larger pre-allocate and extension factors, the ability to recover
deleted records and (I think) 64 bit attributes.
