I don't think anyone could accuse you of not saying what you think!!  I 
really, really appreciate your input.  The wrong software can destroy a 
company.

Unfortunately, I am going to only start with 1 user on a laptop (me), so I 
guess the gui is a requirement.

Any other software suggestions?  I HAVE to have inventory and invoicing, 
besides the usual basics.  Job cost would be a future add in.

I was looking at sql ledger, but not being much of a linux guru, the install 
makes my head spin.  Going to take a look at Nola Pro online accounting.  
Doesn't seem nearly as robust as NetSuite, but a heck of a lot cheaper.

If anyone else has any suggestions, I am open to them.


Oh, and yes, I did decide to leave my job while in the mountains.  I am just 
doing it in a wise way.  Going to do a lot of sub work for my current boss.
