I don't Do Windows as a rule (my wife doesn't like my language
and attitude whenever I have to deal with junk systems :-).
My primary desktop machines are a Mac Mini and a 7+ year old
ThinkPad 600 running SuSE 9.3 Professional. The main Linux
desktop in my office died yesterday morning, and I found it
amazing how quite it is in here with only the Mac Mini, an HP4M+
printer, and an APC UPS. The loudest thing in here is the fan on
the UPS unless the printer is actually printing.
