Wireless over 10+ miles (Mr. Bandel?)

Well what can I say.....   I had to do a lot of adjusting to get the signal 
that I do get....   and I'm at the mercy of the ISP.   I use their radio...  
and I doubt if they would want me using anything else.  And I do have trees 
in the way...  I cannot 'see' their antenna because I don't quite clear the 
trees.    And there are enough trees surrounding my house that I had a hard 
time getting four sets of guys for the 110 feet that I have.   I'm not quite 
to Rohn specs on the guys but close.

Oh yeah, and I had to really holler at the ISP just to get them to allow me to 
install the antenna myself.  ("Ya know, the FCC wants a professional 
installation...  so we'll have to find someone to climb your tower..."  =  
BIG BUCKS)


It's pretty much a crap shoot if you don't have all the variables in line.  I 
wish him luck.
