One of my goals is to die well. I think Ray managed to do just that.
Caldera was his intellectual child and it was good to be under that
wing, while it lasted. Caldera did a ton of good for the Open Source
Community before it was cool. Putting all that Digital stuff they
acquired out to Open Source led the way for IBM and Intel to follow in
his steps. Ray did some real and lasting good, for his family and us. He
died well, IMHO. Ric
