OI am now using the latest & greatest. I make a living with this stuff.
Now with that said, I still have my EDesktop 2.4 sitting on a shelf. and every
once in a while I use it on a machine to test a system. 2.4 was the first Linux
distro that I liked and still do. If it works for you and you are happy with it,
so be it. You can update and modify to your hearts content, to get it to where
you want it. Not all users want the latest and greatest, some are just happy
where they are, go for it. It is your time and effort and your system.
