glxgears no frame rate display

No, its not on ubuntu.  Ubuntu decided to remove the framerate reporting 
(by default) for glxgears so that people didn't foolishly use it as a 
benchmark (which it is not).  There's some silly option which will 
re-enable the framerate reporting.
