Ronnie,

At the risk of sounding elitist, I don't completely agree with you. In 
general, I would like to see Linux become the "best" o/s available not the 
most popular. I have no objection to Debian loading up the desktop 
environment task with every MS Windows-like app in the world, so long as I 
have to opportunity to install what I like and what is appropriate for 
me--which I do.
