For a system with more than one CPU, is it possible, under Linux booting with smp kernel, to limit some specific applications to run under just one CPU ? My problem is my server has 4 CPUs. Besides other apps, this server has a small tool that requires very little cpu power and does not run very often and this tool is licensed by the number of CPUs. Any advice is really appreciated.
