Hey, I'm with you there, bud. As you can readily see, I'm longer on the
humanities than hacking. But, this is the next frontier, so I'm scouting
it all out, and chose to use the computer as another medium of
expression and creation that is part and parcel to the next frontier.
Like learning to use a shovel so you can dig a foundation to build the
Taj Mahal. You just have to get the dirt out of the way first, ergo- you
learn the system and develop calluses along the way.
Actually, I believe from the hairs on the back of my head, that RedHat
will drive to this direction. Why? Because they had better! There's
already enough ways to deliver email to fill a cardboard box. Same with
HTML. Same with desktops. Same with all the flavors of development
tools. There's not a lot to turn to but making Linux ready for Grandma,
Frankie Fraternity and Sandie Sorority. Oh yeah, Joe Lunchbucket, too.
Let's not forget about him or Eddie Executive or even Tony El Tourista.
Toss in a wayward4now, replete with rubber chicken to keep it all
stirred, and all the rest of this local cast, we'll have a shot at
"Brotherly Love" and "World Peace"!
