Remember Wabi!? That was one sharp piece of software. One of the Caldera
guys told me on the phone that he had seen with his very own eyes, a
Win95 version of Wabi. Of course the rep was showing it off, as they
could not release it, but it was produced and working. There must have
been a lawsuit or something as all of the numbered copies of Wabi not
sold by a certain date had to be destroyed. I also really liked the
NetScape server that they bundled. No dinking around with it, just punch
in the domainname and addresses and the damn thing was serving webpages,
counting the hits, running reverse dns, you name it. Seven years later
and Apache is still crude compared to the admin gui that Netscape had.
Well, I liked it. <cackles> Keep a couple of cherries in the bottle for
my arrival one of these days. I swear I'm gonna move to a warmer clime
and it sure as hell won't be Florida or South Texas. It's gonna float
and be found in the Southern Latitudes. <winks> One of these days. Ric
