Ok, all you free-loading code bums, it's time to give (pay) respect to
MicroSoft for all of their innovations and to stop using all the
benefits from the "GodFather of Software" for free. Just pay up and
they'll agree to not sue your pants off, sez Ballmer.

I was just starting to like this guy, when he supported the X-plane
contest, but NOW I realize he's trying to monopolize the patent rights
to the skies above.
OK? No more looking up! Don't DO IT! Star gazers will have to purchase
site licenses that allow X number of stars in any given field of view of
the star catalog. Clouds, sunsets and open areas of blue sky will have a
special status due to their mutable nature, views of less than 5 minutes
will be covered under the: Ballmer Unilateral Localities License
Semantics Humanities Initiative Treaty.(TM)
The moon will be completely off limits to looking at, as Mr. Ballmer now
owns patents issued to protect the data of it's image. His Space
Consortium declared it a proprietary intellectual property and thus may
not be used to stimulate the optic nerves, in any fashion by any
unlawful viewer, with out a license to do so.
Quoted as saying, "It's all about tubes. The image of the moon is just
information delivered to a pathway to the brain, in the very same manner
our proprietary operating system does. We have a patent on this
information and, as the owners of this information, have a real and
legal duty to reward our stockholders with a return on their
investments. The Sun, planets, stars, as well as the dark spaces between
them, are now also covered by the B.U.L.L.S.H.I.T. patents."
<taps side of noggin> Think about it! He's claiming rights to everything
else. Ric
