My problem was not with the install itself, but with getting additional
 components and programs installed.

By the way, SuSE had an eject option in the right click of the DVD, how
do I get that back for the kubuntu DVD?  (The eject button on the side
of the laptop is broken, I either need a wire or software to open the DVD.)
