I generally use mutt directly on Maildir folders, and use IMAP
primarily to test other's IMAP servers. The command to do this
is ``c'' (change folder), and the format is ``{servername}folder''
The following examples assume courier-imap where everything other
than shared folders are under INBOX. UW-IMAP allows access to
any file the user has access to, which some consider a security
problem.
# the default folder (will try TLS for secure connections)
{imap.example.com}INBOX
# Access a subfolder.
{imap.example.com}INBOX.subfolder
# access a subfolder of a folder
{imap.example.com}INBOX.folder.subfolder

When the customer has beaten upon you long enough, give him what he asks
for, instead of what he needs. This is very strong medicine, and is
normally only required once.
