WTF? A fellow can't express his opinion of GNOME? If he'd said "Dump
KDE, get with the GNOME crowd with both feet" would you have teed off
like this?  The KDE/GNOME religious war was already tedious in 2000;
and it was never as entertaining or amusing as the vi/emacs skirmishes
that periodically break out.

And why exactly piss and moan on *this* list when you likely would
have found a more sympathetic audience on the Fedora list? More to the
point, why make it personal? Ric can defend himself, but I fail to see
how anything he said attacked you personally. If he'd said "You're a
booger-eating, pimply-faced monad," I could understand, but all he said
was, in so many words, "I don't like GNOME."

One final thought. It's pretty much chicken shit to make a personal attack
while hiding behind an email address "my.accountnow at ntlworld.com." The next
time you decide to flame somebody, cowboy up, grow a pair, and put your name
on it.
