Everyone is entitled to his or her opinion, which in this case wasn't
expressed in offensive terms. I'm sure you can say your piece about KDE
and not be flamed, even if some replies are not to your taste. But you
must understand that some users don't appreciate being treated like
children by some "we-know-what's-best-for-users",
"let's-make-it-hard-to-configure-lest-they-hurt-themselves", Gnome
developers. (And I'm not saying you're one of them.) 
Even a non-pro end-user like me can, like Linus, make use of his
privilege of voting with his feet.
