Hmmm, you must be substantially east of Fremont.  I seem to remember it 
taking me well over 3 hours to get their from the Stanford area.  But 
maybe it just seemed that way.  Driving through the Central Valley is 
not my idea of fun.

It flooded earlier in the season.
You can climb up alongside the waterfalls not far from the Ahwhanee (but 
perhaps not this season).
