FWIW, our company has dropped it's contract with Dell. All new servers
and desktops now come from HP. We can only hope that we won't be back
in the same mess 2 years from now.
On a side note, the driver for the ATI card (we have the latest) n the
HP desktops is pure crap. When you log out of a gui session and/or
shutdown, you may get a kernel oops or a hung machine.
