It looks pretty nice. I added xubuntu-desktop (the desktop setup you
get with Xubuntu) to my system last night, and I'm running that for
now. Just so you will be aware, they've tweaked XFCE4 heavily. The
screen looks more like Gnome, and they've enable desktop icons.
Xubuntu honors whatever you have in ~/Desktop, so it came up with akll
the icons I had on my KDE desktop. For a server with only occasional
need for gui, it would be ideal. Just be aware that Xubuntu doesn't
install all the programs you'd normally expect with a desktop, since
many of them are too resource instensive for a minimal capability
machine (P266 with 128M, foir example). That shouldn't be a problem
for server use.
