usb & fedora 5

Hello all,

The other day I upgraded from fedora 4 to 5 and discovered that now 
my usb sticks were no longer recognized when I plugged em in.

I have been unable to find anything relavent via google, nor at the
fedora site.

Also I'm running Gnome so maybe its a gnome issue ?

Anyone have a solution for this ?
