I'm not sure what you mean by that question.
We run all X applications other than the window manager and the
things it launches directly via ssh so that we don't have to
worry about setting DISPLAY and dealing with xhosts.
Some time within the last year or so, openssh got a bit more
picky about starting X clients, and now requires either the
``-Y'' option to the ssh command or setting ForwardX11Trusted to
yes in the ssh_config file.
The SuSE default settings for ssh connections in /etc/ssh/ssh_config
appear to have ForwardAgent and ForwardX11 turned off (we use the
OpenPKG version of openssh rather than SuSE's as it knows about
the PATH to include the OpenPKG bin directories). The SuSE
sshd_config has X11Forwarding=yes by default.
The only time I've ever had to dig into allowing remote access
has been when setting up X Terminals with their own graphical
login screens. I would have to dig into the wayback machine to
remember how that's set up.
