After 10 days with Suse on my desktop, I decided to give it a try on a
Dell 600m to see how it works. The installtion is with the Suse DVD that
I downloaded from OpenSuse. It took about an 45 minutes for the whole
process.

The wired and wireless network interfaces are up.

"Windows update" let me know there are several packages waiting for
downloading but I could not find any security pack for download :)

The screen resolution is automatically set to the highest resolution.
Sound card is also detected and works well.

Suspend mode works well also. I hibernated it and it went back to its
previous state after I turned it on again.

Cisco VPN Client also works. This plays an important role on my decision
of using Linux on my notebook because I have to connect to customers by
this software.

The only problem , and this happens on my desktop also, is I have to
look for a way to work with eVC++ which I use for some customers.
Perhaps VMware ?
