I'm not so sure that it is specific to my configuration as there have 
been many complaints about this on the Internet.

On a new system, SeaMonkey installs without this problem. On my existing 
systems, on which I have run Mozilla and Firefox, the problem occurs.

As I said, I found a solution for it once, but cannot find it again.
