How Slow is KDE?

Well, we've come full circle:

1. Those who hate KDE still really hate KDE.
2. Those who hate the look and feel of Windows hate that look and feel
wherever it appears.
3. KDE is fast enough to be useful on most modern PCs.
4. KDE and Gnome are quite bloated, XFCE4 is somewhat bloated.
5. Not too many of us care for Gnome.
6. MAC is frequently a good choice for [in]experienced users
