No, it's a single user machine and my distros installer pretty much allows
me to configure the system the way I see fit to.
My main problem with kde is that it historically required the QT toolkit which
was non-free software and whose license(s) didn't comply with the GPL.
The nice thing about linux is that it gives you several choices, so
if kde floats your boat, enjoy :)
