How Slow is KDE?

Hmmm .. I use it on a DAMN FAST ;-> 650MHZ machine with 1.5GB of Ram.

Cannot tell any differ in it on this machine or the AMD 2.8XP based
demo machine of mine.

I guess the true test is what I was asked last summer from someone who
never had been exposed to LINUX when I put a LINUX/KDE machine at
that customers site and went back a few weeks latter:
