ARRggggggg....

Ok, caught in a quandary here. I am running Slackware 10.2.

On this HORDE WebMail server I am setting up, I decided to go with the
"Latest" - Apache 2.0 and PHP 4.4.2 and MySQL 5.x.

Now I am finding out PHP 4.4.2 ONLY has experimental support for
Apache 2.x. I can get PHP 5.x, but then there are some KLUDGES
to get HORDE working with PHP 5.x. I ALSO must make some
ADJUSTMENTS to get all the sources to compile and know where
the now, non-standard mix of software is.

So... Should I just say fsck it and go BACK to the MySql and
PHP and Apache that came with Slackware 10.2 ?

The rev DEFAULT packages for Slackware are:

- Apache 1.3.33 web server with Dynamic Shared Object (DSO) support,
   SSL, and PHP.

- php-4.4.0

- apache-1.3.33

- mysql-4.1.1

Thanks ...
