Squirrel Mail or Horde ?

Ok, the past discussions have made my head spin.

I know HORDE is a pain to setup but reliable and fast.

Squirrel Mail may be slower than Horde but seems to have
more plug-ins.

Squirrel mail seems to use PERL a lot while Horde is all PHP (Please
correct me IF I am wrong on this!)

Now, I have about 800 - 1000 email accounts that MAY use This service,
so which one should I choose ?
