I find that rather amusing as I remember worrying whether the quality of
the Control Data SCSI drives would decline when Seagate bought them.

We had a CDC Wren Runner drive that ran continuously for more than ten
years before I finally decided that we needed the full-height 5.25in bay
more than I needed to know how long it would last.
