Interesting to me personally.  My Great-Grandpa on my Dad's side was in
on the original gold rush to the Red Rock Canyon.  My Grand-Dad told me
he had seen the Old Gent's gold pan so full of gold and nuggets two men
couldn't lift it from the ground.  The Old Gent fed a lot of horses at
Santa Anita, hence, the family has nothing to show.  I'll try to dig up
the old phot of the dry washer the miners used to get at the free gold
(not chemically bound or physically bound), and post it.
