yeah, I am thinking the uBR900 is kinda weak anyway.

As far as crackers/hackers and file swappers, he told me about one of
the students who downloaded about 1.5GB in an a little over an hour
just that morning.

I also suspect a fair amount of "bit torrenting" and napster like
activities going on as well as probably some server farms and on-line
games being hosted there.

I will investigate to see if PORT blocking can be turned on in the ProCurves.
Since the ProCurves are SNMP capable, any ideas on "monitoring" software for
these things ? (Like MRTG?)

The HP management software for the PRO Curves runs about $2500+/- USD for
a 100 device license.
