What is that on his back, the hydraulic system? The engineering skills
are there, the quackery at times out-power the brains. A couple of years
back I did a project for Dominion Astrophysical Radio Observatory (just
outside of Penticton B. C.) The engineering behind the project was
sound, The individual entrusted to procure the goods was out to lunch.
What should have been a pleasant experience turned into a nightmare.

I have been working on several designs for an exploration robot (over
the last 26 years). In the beginning I sought all the help I could get.
Spent time with quite a few engineers and always walked away totally
frustrated as each one in turned informed me that "it can not work like
that" Now that the square box works, I'm onto designing a more suitable
housing(body). I could probably buy a new F-350 diesel 4x4 for what I've
spent on this over the years. I doubt I could ever get the same
enjoyment from a truck.

Cheers.
