Any time there's snow or ice south of Virginia, things get very
interesting on the highways.  I think it was 1979 when I was
racing at Daytona, coming back up I-95 through Georgia we saw
cars and trucks in some very strange positions -- few of them
upright with all their wheels on the road.  This was Wednesday
after the storm as we stayed in Titusville for several days to
let things clear out a bit in Maryland where I had had to dig my
trailer out of 3 feet of snow before we left for the race.
