How is this different from paying protection to the local mob?
Your business is safe so long as you continue to pay protection.
Paying Microsoft for anti-spyware and anti-virus software doesn't provide
any real protection as the machines will continue to be infected by new and
ingenious worms that attack the Microsoft virus, Windows.
It's been 22 years this month since I attended the first Microsoft Windows
developers meeting at the Seattle Westin hotel. One would think in that
period of time Microsoft would have been able to produce a reasonably
secure operating system.
