At this site you can arrange for Ubuntu CD sets to be sent to you,
free of charge. Until recently I would receive 1,000 sets of every
new release of Ubuntu.
With this is mind, the above Shuttleworth quote could perhaps be read
as sending 1,000 sets of CDs to 57 people in the Philippines in 12
weeks time.

One can't dispute that Ubuntu has a growing presence, though it's
not surprising given Shuttleworths and Canonicals aggressive
PR campaign.
