Note I wrote thin crust. The recent (10-20 years) marketing of some deep
dish thing as Chicago style pizza is untrue. My local pizza place (Home
Run Inn) is a great example of Chicago pizza. Thin crispy crust. Some
tomato sauce. A few toppings.

I do like thick crust as well. But I would never call it Italian.
