Hurrah - my new Mac Mini arrived on Monday:

1.5Ghz G4
512Mb RAM
80Gb HD
SuperDrive
Airport Extreme
Bluetooth
OS X 10.4 (Tiger)

Dang, this is a nice little machine! Very snappy. And since it has a
decent graphics card I finally see all the nice transitions in Desktop
Manager (which I did NOT see on my ole dual-USB G3 iBook - it was a big
suprise when I first switched desktops and the whole screen became the
side of a cube that rotated to reveal the next desktop ;-)

I think Targus make the smallest optical mouse (with retractable cord)
which I had been using with the iBook for awhile now:

And for server racks, I had already been carrying the smallest keyboard
around (at less than 9" long, its small enough to throw in your bag):

Altogether this the smallest desktop machine Ive ever used.

The bad news is that I had originally planned to use this in the office
and leave the iBook at home, but the iBook was stolen last Thursday so now
Im carrying this to and from work (hence the mention of the super small
input devices. Just need to find a cheap small portable LCD panel ;-)
