Between rounds with the snow shovel, I've been fixing and working
around Feisty. Thus far, there have only been 3 bugs that affect my
system:

1. The apache2/php5 fiasco (source: Debian)
2. The initramfs-tools fiasco (Debian strikes again). Unable to boot
until workaround released. Still not fixed AFAICT.
3. Cupsys unable to add new usb printer (source: ???). Workaround/fix
is to add cupsys to a group 'plugdev'. Even after the fix, the driver
selection process requires foomatic and gutenprint db's that are not
installed by default.

My respect for the Debian and Ubuntu test process (development level)
is pretty low at this point. Both groups appear to consider successful
package build sufficient testing to put the package in a repo and then
duck.

Happy New Year to all.
