Was it really 1:16am when you wrote this? I was long abed at that point.
Yesterday (Saturday!) I had to install Quickbooks2007 on a 2 computer 
network with a one user setup (accessed by one user on 2 computers, 
depending on which was not in use), while upgrading from 2003 on a 
different computer, but couldn't get the upgrade to finish correctly. 
Kept getting an error. Not surprising, but once in a while the thing 
would appear to finish and work until a restart, when the error would 
reappear, forcing me to start over.

Finally google saved me, advising me that MacAfee security center was 
the culprit, which I had disabled, but it turns out it must be 
uninstalled to allow QB to set up the newly converted company files. 
D@#n, that ran me around for 2 hours. Made my brain hurt. This is the 
miracle that is Windows. Seven hours to install one program on two 
computers.

Anyway, got home and hit the hay early, so here I am, up at 5am on 
Sunday, the last day of 007! Happy New Year, and my auld aquaintance be 
forgot.
