We have a gbit d-link switch that does not allow NFS mounts over
connections that are not gbit (say, 100 mbit). It is true. Just swap out
the d-link switch, and all works. Lost a few hours on that one. So,
d-link switches are lower on our list these days. I can forward the
exact model number if anyone is interested.
