You got that right, Brother. My old 1977 Chevy Pick-em-up Truck with the
chugging sidepipes hitched up to a roaring gas consuming 350 V8 with a 4
barrel Holley and some chains would have got you out, with some sandbags
in the truck bed. I was pulling logs with a chain with it a couple of
days ago, we're heating with all of the fallen trees to save some bucks,
and it just snorted and pulled 'em. New chain on the chain saw, all is
OK in this world. It's still shirt sleeve weather in Nawth Carolaky.
I remember a week of true 70 below in Helena, MT my *last* year there.
When I couldn't get a couple of weeks of hot weather in the summer, I
was a goner. Still, the snow is nice if you're at home, the utility bill
is paid and and the larder is stocked. If not, Mother Nature always
wins. <sigh> Ric
