ubuntu feisty experiences

After five days of running and lots of updates, I've seen very few
problems with Feisty, PHP being the one exception. The wise gurus in
Debian land have flummoxed that one, and no fix in sight, and of
course Ubuntu passed it right on through. All PHP does is segfault. I
don't know why no one at Debian or Ubuntu bothered to test that before
throw ing it over the wall.
